Swedish medtech SME offering antimicrobial material for wound care application

We have developed a new antimicrobial hydrogel targeted for wound care applications and anti-infective medical devices. We are interested in discussing potential partnerships with established wound care/med-tech companies and would like to assess different types of co-operations, such as joint venture agreements, licence agreements as well as commercial/technical agreements.

Our proprietary patented technology is a new and effective antimicrobial material. The material consists of bioinspired and amphiphilic antibacterial polymers that target and rapidly kill bacteria upon contact, including numerous strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria like Methicillin-Resistant S. aureus (MRSA) and E. coli Multiple Drug Resistance (MDR).

The material is highly selective and targets only bacteria while being entirely non-toxic to human cells. Today this concept is a first functional prototype of a preventive wound care patch and has completed extensive scientific evaluation.
